Cartogram: Cantons of Switzerland over time

This example shows the cantons of Switzerland. Select a field and a year in the dropdowns above to scale the cantons. Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, hover over the map for a tooltip.

Code

The code for this map is heavily inspired by the d3-cartogram example. The map is built with d3-cartogram and D3.js using topojson. Client interaction with jQuery, styling by Foundation and map colors by ColorBrewer
